I'm posting this for IF's topic this week, hoard, because this woman hoards herself by staying in a box rather than sharing herself with others.Intially, the woman in this image was supposed to have thorns all over her, but when I got to the point of adding them, it just didn't seem right. Maybe I'll do another one and put them in this time...

It's lovely. I've just remembered an image (much more stylised than this) I made a few years ago of a figure curled up in a foetal position, with spikes coming out of her. Your images always resonate something within me. :)
Dare I say, I think the thorns would detract, especially from the impact of the single pink rose. But it would be interesting to make the comparison.
This seems a strong statement even without thorns, I agree.
