Starlings in Search of a Nest

IF: duet

Once, I was in a bar in a college town and two girls, music students, came in to listen to the music. They stood at the bar and looked around the room and seemed to be searching for something. They reminded me of two birds making their way in an unfamiliar woods, a duet of timid exploration.

Thanks for stopping by. I messed up my thumbnail for IF this week!

Thanks, Indigene, for all your kind comments. You are right; the Tengu is meant as a monster in a story. Now I just need the story! Today is the day we will see all the dawgs, and mine will finally be planted on his surfboard. So I'll publish a picture soon. Thanks for all of your support!

I love the way this is inspired by an 'ordinary' event from life. Nothing is really ordinary I know, and you've created something beautiful from this.x

It's funny, seeing my comments from before! Nothing has changed, your work still holds me hostage with it's symbolism and deep meaning.

Thanks, Indigene. I''m totally guilty of posting this for IF twice, but it fit the prompt so well!
