OK, I'm digging
way back here, really to my very first drawing class at Idaho State, and then later when I made a print of the original drawing as a lino cut. But, it was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw today's IF prompt,
Shadows. I think this must have been the beginning of my tendency to be invisible.

I'm happy, that you're not invisible. I love the contrast and drama in this piece! Continue to be visible and BOLD, it becomes you. :)
Alas, Indigene, I have many moments of invisibility. The bright side of it for an artist is that it allows one to observe, unobserved. I'm afraid the only dimension in which I'm bold is the 2D dimension. You have boldness within grace. Can you teach me how to do that?
Beautiful Lynette..I can definately relate to her and what you said..I have been practising invisibility for years haha..and often have had to push myself out of that space to find balance! Invisiblilty does have great powers and so does being in the open space..I have had to find my personal harmony with them both..so I loved this piece!
shine on..beautiful work as always !

I really like this piece. It shows so much emotion. Very interesting and well done.
Hi Lynette, this is my first visit to your blog...I see a whole bunch of talent, wow! And lots of thinking (I certainly approve of that) I am fascinated by your secret project...a really cool idea to explore...especially through art. ♥
Nice contrasty print. I like the way you put the figure in to the lines.
Thanks for visiting my shadows. No, it is not a scratchboard. I "scratch" it in copper plate and than edited on the computer.
