The Conversation


Well, such as it is, these are the eight panels that will make up the image for the front of my triptych. Now, I have to burn plates and print them, and then attach them to a painted background. I hope the drawings look OK.

I'm also posting this for today's IF prompt, lost, because I think both of these women look like they know how that feels.

Thanks! I'm coloring the prints right now with pastel. I'll post them soon. I appreciate the encouragement!

(I also like your comment on an earlier post about thinking about how your work has changed and how it hasn't over the years. That is so true. I think back to when I was younger and worried about developing my own "style", but the fact of the matter is that we can't help but be who we are, and the more pieces one makes, the more one becomes who one is. I find it kindof amazing that no matter what medium I use, it still looks like my drawing.)
