This is actually from before the riot, but it's how I'm feeling today, too. On that day, I had a conversation with someone who was really worried about what might happen on January 6. At that point, I thought she was right to worry, but I also naively thought that the adults in charge in D.C. would be prepared. Foolish me.
And now, we are facing more of the same nonsense. Washington seems to have wised up and is prepared, but now my worry is for the states. My ear is to the ground for signs. I hope everyone stays safe out there.
